The Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM), the export promotion arm of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) will promote PH products for export in its signature events. However, this time the exhibits will be digital as the pandemic prevents buyers from physically experiencing the products.
Through digital platforms and activities, CITEM will continue to feature products and services of Philippine brands on their signature events- IFEX Philippines for the food and beverage industry, CREATE Philippines for the creative industry and Manila FAME for the home, fashion and lifestyle industry.
The agency is also building up the Sustainable Solutions Expo (SSX) which will be the country’s first trade show for sustainability solutions and technologies.
Tentative schedules for the said events are as follows:
- CREATE PH (June)
- IFEX Philippines (July)
- Manila fame (October)
- Sustainability Solutions Expo (October)
CITEM will also continue to participate on hybrid trade shows such as Gulfood, Creative Expo Taiwan, PHXfashion Conference, CAEXPO, ANUGA and China International Import Expo.
