The Export Development Council, in cooperation with the National Competitiveness Council (NCC) Working Group on Finance is conducting an information campaign in the regions for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to avail of the financing facilities of Government Financial Institutions such as the Small Busines Corporation, PhilExim, Development Bank of the Philippines, Landbank and some private commercial banks. The first regions to benefit from this program are Region 3 (Clark) and Region 11 (Davao City). The symposia are organized in coordination with the DTI and PHILEXPORT in the regions. MSMEs in other regions may request the local PHILEXPORT or DTI to coordinate with the NCC to schedule a financing symposium.
Provides the policy framework that will develop the agriculture sector to be efficient and productive to supply Philippine exporters with inputs priced at world competitiveness levels; and to establish a region for food export manufacturers to specific countries.
